Our Activities
The GTP delivers on its mission through four broad types of activity:
Inform
- Commissioning and curating practical and immediately usable information and content in support of the trade policy conversation
- Providing a space for more diverse voices and researchers to highlight the policy implications of their work
Incubate
- Creating spaces for longer term discussions, debates and collaborative innovation projects
- Lending the institutional strength of the Graduate Institute to promising projects that might otherwise struggle to gain traction
Empower
- Delivering targeted training in support of negotiations
- Supporting players on the margins of the trade policy conversation with the training and guidance they need to make their voices heard
Connect
- Providing a neutral space for frank exchanges on trade policy
- Bringing stakeholders rarely seen together into the same space to break down the silos separating the trade policy community from business, civil society, and other policy communities
