About

The Graduate Institute’s Geneva Trade Platform invites you to join us in person in Geneva and on Zoom for a keynote address by Ambassador Katherine Tai, the United States Trade Representative.

This event will take place at 15:00 – 16:00 CET / 9:00 – 10:00 EST

Ambassador Tai will deliver remarks on the important role of the World Trade Organization in the global economy and U.S. policy priorities ahead of the 12th Ministerial Conference before joining our own Professor Richard Baldwin for a discussion and a Q&A with both the in-person and virtual audiences.

The Geneva Trade Platform and the United States Mission to the World Trade Organization  are proud to host this event live in hybrid format, with registration below. This event will take place in compliance with all Covid-19 regulations, which means we will only be able to accommodate a limited number of students, trade practitioners, members of the press and delegates to the WTO in person at the venue.

To register for the event in either format, please use the form below and if relevant indicate your interest in attending in-person. Those who aren’t able to join us in person will still be able to watch the event and participate in the Q&A via Zoom.

The remarks, discussion, and Q&A will also be broadcast live and recorded on YouTube.
