About

The Graduate Institute’s Geneva Trade Platform is pleased to invite you to this virtual event on Plurilaterals and Joint Initiatives: What you need to know ahead of MC12, taking place on 24 November at 11:00-12:30 CET.

A key theme at the upcoming 12th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC12) will be discussions by sub-groups of WTO Members on a range of issues like gender, services regulation, electronic commerce and sustainability.

In this online event, expert speakers will provide brief summaries and updates on each of these initiatives, outlining what they’re trying to accomplish and the latest public information on the status of discussions heading into MC12.

The event will also mark the official launch of a new website, created and curated by the Geneva Trade Platform with the generous support of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, which compiles and curates a mix of original and crowdsourced news and information on plurilateral initiatives at the World Trade Organization, including the MPIA.
